What we believe
One of our values is to speak in the language of our culture. At The Torch we keep today’s culture in mind and communicate in ways everyone can understand.
It’s important you know that we’re regular people and we accept you no matter who you are or where you’ve been. Our essential belief is that God loves all people and desires to be in an intimate relationship with everyone.
We believe the meaning of life is to have a relationship with God, who created us and loves us.
We believe in one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect, all-knowing, and eternally existing in three persons – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He died for our sins, rose from the dead and will return again, as promised, to claim each of us who have a personal relationship with Him.
We believe the church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to continue the task of turning ordinary people into extraordinary followers of Christ.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and has authority in life and doctrine.
The Torch of New England is a new community of faith based in New Hampshire. Our faith is Biblical Christianity, based on the history of God and man throughout the Tanakh and the B’rit Hadashah (Old & New Testaments) with a special sensitivity to the Hebrew roots of our faith and the Ruach Ha’Kodesh (or Holy Spirit, Spirit of God)
Our Mission
Our mission is to share Gods love and Gospel (good news) to as many individuals as possible in the shortest amount of time. God is love and truth and this is demonstrated to us in the life death and resurrection of Jesus (Yeshua). It is His Truth that has set us free, which is why, with our whole hearts, we desire to love others and offer this freedom. Our style is modern, but we are true to the unchanging God.
